History

        Suwannakorn Registered Ordinary Partnership was founded in 1948 by Mr. Sukij Puttavibul, who was working as a doctor of traditional medicine. Mr. Sukij Puttavibul was the first pioneer in the potassium nitrate industry in Thailand. Because of its many benefits, potassium nitrate is in high demand on the market. In addition, the raw materials used to produce potassium nitrate at the time (bat manure) were limited and uncertain. Producers usually encountered problems due insufficient bat manure and poor quality. Because he understood the problem, Mr. Sukij began researching new production methods in addition to searching for alternative raw materials to improve product quality and produce larger amounts capable of supporting future market demands. 

        For over 60 years after successful achievements in production development with a firm commitment to improvement with extensive experience, products from Suwannakorn have been used in several key industries such as the gold, fireworks, lens, mirror and ceramic industries, as well as the food processing, pharmaceutical and refrigeration industries, thus making Suwannakorn a leader in the business of importing, producing, processing and exporting potassium nitrate with trust from customers to the present date. And we believe ROP Suwannakorn will be able to move forward to future business with security and strength.
